      Pros

      Strong brand recognition, consistant product, great on-line training and resources. Great communication from executive offices.

      Cons

      Select Service division is not invested in employees, they do not provide traing or support. I have had three general managers who had very little leadership abilities and were unable to lead a successful team. I would not work for the select service division again.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
