      Decent Benefits Hospitality mentality with people you work with Never a dull day

      Cons

      Salaries are not in line with other industries - way too low Have to demand a work/life balance or they'll overwork you Cutting way too much staff, amenities, supplies, etc. so the Hilton Brand is starting to look cheap

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
