Pros
This company is good for people who are looking for balance between work and life. You will find most people who are happy for this reason only. Good company for those who want to stay in their comfort zone and do same work all year long.
Cons
- Lot of Politics, employee evaluation are based on how long you were in HSBC. - HR not at all reachable, had poor experience even before joining HSBC. My joining was delayed by a month just bcaz they needed one address. And no one even bothered to contact me. After leaving HSBC had same experience, After release/ leaving HSBC, had to chase over email for my experience letter and F&F. Got response from HR only when I contacted ex manager and he chased HR. - While interviews conducted, job profile explained was way different than what actual was. - Seniors come to your help only when things gets escalated. Before escalation when you approach then no one will help, they simply wait for things to get escalate so that they can show their existence.
