Pros

No pros at all

Cons

1. HD Supply has release every month and employees would be on fire every month. 2. For every release you might need to work for two days week end.. i.e 24 days extra work per year (no money) 3. There is bonus of 3% which is negligible compared to other companies 4. Managers are directed to perform micro management which they show their talent in harassing. 5. They might ask for each and every small change to document which is good one way but it frustrates from employee prospective 6. They follow charm approval process which is another mess, it requires lot of approvals and documents for a small change 8. Medical , 401K benefits are not that great.. No way compare with other companies 9. Managers try to cover themselves and do not listen what you suggest and propose. They try to impose what they think, If something goes wrong ultimate blame would be on you. 10. Since it is medium level company they do not allocate budgets for new technologies 11. They are way behind in Technologies and lot of failures in implementation 12. Some of employees work remotely all the time and do not expect any response from them in timely manner 13. Remote working employees are doing multiple jobs outside of HDSupply and they do not concentrate on the projects, and they do not respond. My suggestion would be if anyone is on job, do not take a risk to join in HD Supply for career purpose. If you do not have job then consider to join here. Think twice before taking decision.

Pros

There is job security if you can get past the cons.

Cons

They say they care; unless you request a pay raise, a future path, ask the why's to policies, or ask if they would be willing to do a hybrid shift if they are not going to subsidize gas with the prices right now. Jacksonville is very cliquish, If you make their favorite supervisor made, then all of leadership is mad at you. They will find a way to fire you if they so please instead of giving you a chance to make improvements. Health is not important to them. You will pay 1400 dollars a month in insurance for your family, and if you use it, then get ready for those co-pays, They offer tuition program, unless you would like to be reimbursed per their SOP. Do not fear! You will not get a pay raise for education acheivements
