GL hires well-educated professionals through third-party contractors to shield itself from potential lawsuits and avoid accountability. The worker ends up doing the same job as a direct hire, but gets much lower pay and less job security. There is no opportunity for career advancement, leaving skilled professionals in stagnant roles without a clear path forward.
