Pros
A lot of training programs for newbies, relative freedom, and a somewhat good work-life balance (depends on a lot of factors though). Generally, it is a good place to start a career.
Cons
Performance reviews mean nothing. Virtually no promotions. People are mostly promoted based on service time and not on talents or achievements. No growth prospect beyond the technical lead role. Management only cares about profits now but doesn't think about the next day.
