Pros
Lots of exposure not just in terms of technology but others as well. Excellent work. Management is listening. Considers talent - you will be at forefront of things if you are good at what you do. Hikes are performance based. You will always feel you are a part of something great. One feels empowered. You can simply walk to a leader and speak. There are few leaders who are particularly doing very good.
Cons
Politics. It is everywhere but I think this should be minimized. There are people who are not technically sound and just because of experience are sitting above. They should become LEAN. Management needs to become a bit hands on rather than being just listeners. That will definitely help.
