Pros
Great benefits, lots of training if you can get it. Team atmosphere but still competitive. Room to grow if you want to but be willing to move.
Cons
Long hours, company goals and expectations are more geared for metro adjusters, making the grade as a rural employee is tough. Promotion and transfer of mgmt yielded 8 different sups for me in one year. One mgmt group would train based on your short comings, the next would seek maximize your strengths. It was hard to keep proving yourself in this environment. Was let go after 20+ yrs due to "low claims volume in the territory" while being a top rural performer. Hmmmm...
