Pros

Okay pay, some of the supervisors are nice.

Cons

Two words- Resource Planning! They micromanage every aspect of your life. Imagine being timed on how long you go to the bathroom???!!! Well, that is their job! And if you go too often you are "out of compliance." Resource Planning wants you chained to the phone allday long, to answer all of the useless, back-to-back phone calls that come in. Also, Resource Planning "skills" people for the frequency of calls they get, so if you are taking back to back calls b/c Resource Planning doesn't like you, there is a good chance the guy next to you is not getting any calls, because that's how they have him "skilled." If you are pregnant, this is not the place to work. Your frequent doctor's office visits will begin to count against you as resource planning assigns "points for time missed. Except their point system is really jacked up. They consider you missing an hour and a half the same as missing a whole day as far as points are concerned. To go to the doctor, wait in the waiting room, see your doctor and drive back to work can easily take longer than an hour and a half, so the points quickly rack up. A lot of the supervisors here are really nice, at least the Relationship Specialist supervisors are. But Resource Planning is the judge and the jury and your supervisors hands are tied when it comes to Resource Planning micromanaging you.

Pros

Work from home, make your own hours, fun claim types, starts off with great PTO allotment and you have access to all your hours from the moment you start with an extra week after five years

Cons

Good luck with your diaries if you use the PTO. You will come back with overdue items. The way they have their PTO backup system setup is two backup people for the whole department. There is too much work for them so they don't get to much while you are out. Usually voicemails. You can' schedule anything for while you are gone, all your claims have to wait for you to return. The amount of new claims a week has drastically increased and it isn't sustainable. They do expect you to work more than your 40 hours or recommend that you find a different job that isn't a salary position, PTO calendars are always red with blackout dates. Supervisors and the manager don't listen to actionable items presented to make the department better. The attrition is bad, but they continue to tell us we are fully staffed because our diaries aren't that bad yet. Adjusters are dropping like flies but won't hire anymore. Not sure if that comes from senior leadership or direct leadership. Ever since Jeff Dailey left, we are just numbers. No one cares about us anymore and it is evident.
