Pros

Pay is average okay and virtual. Some people coast through doing nothing while there are lots of things to get done.

Cons

Company is not ethical. It is too big and really not one company but it is company formed by acquisitions of many companies. This company is various multiple company as one. As of result there is very less cohesion between products and departments and really depends on what departments or product you are aligned with which can change your perspective. It might be the product department that I was with that was bad compared to others. This company has history of annual 'layoffs' where they pluck out the highest and the oldest out of the product department that has performance issue. Happens in early Jan/Feb/March. I have seen department or heads of certain roles just get the RIF and this is every year and its like onion peel to get newbies on the top. This might not be good approach for stocks hence why stock has performed so poorly during last 3 years with this approach. I would not invest in the stock at all and there is no room for growth or success against peers. There are some product that is obsolete and not capable of competing against the market. I got the latest RIF and I see is as blessing as disguise since I received little severance while jumping to the competition for new roles with higher pay and or stable job. Can't blame all on Stephanie Ferris.
