Pros

Its a difficult place to work if you are in an acquired company. they do not care about what works and if what they want in place breaks processes. No Admin allowed on servers. To bad if your apps need it... haven't been able to do a production build in 3 months. people are constantly leaving.. and no new hires. I was a part of a 12 person team who are down to 4 in under 6 months. Yet we are expected to handle the same workload of a 12 person team... The feed back provided on reviews is totally UNHELPFUL for those who have been screwed over by the company. "Oh well - you don't work here... blah blah blah.. Have a nice day!" total e "Expiative Deleted". And I've gone to the Ethic department and NOTHOING was done, in fact I ended up getting in trouble as the "inquiries" were done on a very small group of people in FIS.. no one I actually worked with on a daily basis. They say they take ethics seriously - but I have my doubts!! And there isn't a lot of diversity in the C-Levels. Not many women, beside Stephanie Ferris, Most are from India or outside the US. So for them to say they do.. is another misconception! Ho many C-Level are LGBTQ+? Zero!

Cons

Seriously think about applying. If you are young and never worked anywhere - you may think it's great! But in truth you can find better.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. To address your comment about the leadership team not being diverse, FIS is committed to fostering and cultivating an inclusive environment and diverse workforce and is making great strides against our 15 commitments that have been shared with our Board of Directors and colleagues. Also, there have been new women leadership appointments in recent months including our new President, Stephanie Ferris as you mentioned, and our new Chief Legal Officer, Caroline Tsai. Since you have identified yourself as a current colleague, so we encourage you to report any of your stated concerns through your manager or share your feedback through the colleague listening forums.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
