Pros

Remote work, decent but not great parental leave

Cons

7 managers in 2.5 years, 3 dotted line managers, goalposts moving without explanation or appreciation of work done that is no longer necessary. 2020 meant no raises (though the executive team cleaned up). Whiplash for employees, my team specifically lost 5 superb employees within a 4 month span. There is one listing still open since May 2021 that I have been covering for since.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you appreciate virtual work options and other benefits provided at FIS. As FIS continues to grow and develop through a mix of organic growth and acquisitions and sometimes that requires change across various aspects of the organization, including reorganization in business units. Also, 2020 was an unprecedented year for the world and for FIS. We unexpectedly and quickly pivoted in several areas to ensure we were laser focused on what’s important, and that is our colleagues, clients and communities. This included investments in new health and safety protocols throughout the organization and new wellness programs, including COVID-19 time off and enhanced medical, well-being, and mental health resources. With that being said, FIS is not immune from the financial impact the pandemic has had on businesses globally. As a result, we faced an unusual compensation year for 2021 but are planning on a normal compensation cycle for 2022. You identified yourself as a current colleague, so we encourage you to report any of your stated concerns through a member of The People Office, or FIS Ethics Hotline.
