Pros
Worked at Metavante (Now FIS) for over 3 years. Was promoted from a Engineer to a Project Manager after finishing my Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, but was not given a raise (I asked once I was in my new position after 6 months due to more demanding job responsibilities).I received an annual bonus every year even though it was not much ($250-$500) and regularly received recognition rewards. I was allowed to take training courses on an ongoing basis and also recieved tuition reimbursement.
Cons
I was eventually let go during an all but common "reduction in workforce" the company goes though every 1-2 years. This company is great for new grads but it seems like once you gain a little experience or ask for a raise because you have more complex and demanding responsibilities you are shoved out the door. My boss was also very clicky - he had his favorites in my PM group, and consequently the people who got let go in my group were not the ones he sat down to lunch with every day.
