Pros
Good employees to work with. Probably the most talented and dedicated group of people I have worked with in all my life. On special occasions we are allowed to wear jeans to work, but we must donate $5.00 to their charity. At their rate of pay, I might be a recipient to the charity.
Cons
Ever since the merger this has become the worst place to work for. Tension and stress is high. Massive lay-offs. You don't know if your the next person to be laid off. Now we are all over worked since we have lost good people with talent. We have not had a raise in two years. Depending on tenure, we have lost between 1 to 2 weeks of vacation due to new FIS policies. I have calculated that I have lost over $8000 in benefits just in 2010 alone which will rollover year after year and will grow with inflation and lack of pay raises. In addition, the vacation time I lost with my family is priceless. We also do not recieve any training in new technologies. All the employees I know are looking for a better company and when the economy gets better, I doubt they will stay. How will America get out of a recesion when the executives pay themselves more with salary, bonuses and stocks while we employees get less and less each year? Look at the form DEF-14A in the NYSE at Frank Martire bonuses while it was Metavante (MV). Sorry about typos, so angry!
