Pros

The culture was very relaxed and supportive. You could set up a meeting with anyone, and they would be more than willing to take time out of their schedule to talk to you. The work hours were also very flexible, and they were very understanding in letting you take time off as needed. The company itself is doing a lot to become more competitive in the industry, so the Metavante name is expected to become more well-known in the future. The group is also actively looking to recruit younger individuals and summer interns.

Cons

They only have a couple of MBA interns, so there is no formal internship or training program. The responsibilities that they give you can range anywhere from office tasks to projects working with other members of the team. There is not a lot of oversight, aside from biweekly meetings with your manager, so you're basically expected to learn and complete the tasks on your own. The company also consists of relatively older individuals, some who have been working there for over 30 years, so the culture is rather conservative. The best way to get something done there is to simply walk over to the other person's cubicle. Many people like to rely on email or instant messenger, so there may not be as much face-to-face interaction with certain members of the group.
