Pros

Advancement opportunity, affordable benefits, 'family' atmosphere. Management is open to suggestion most of the time. Flexible schedule, so you're allowed to set your own start and end times.

Cons

Pay, while more than minimum wage, is still laughable. HR Department is uneducated, and I was actually fired over the phone during an FMLA leave. My 'people representative' conveniently let me go after finding out about my mental illness, which is illegal.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
