Pros

I feel that this is one of a good company. Company offers me great times flexibility where I can manage my own schedules. - Health benefits are extremely good. - Provident fund contribution rate also exceptional. - Learning and growth are somewhat there

Cons

- Manager is horrible. I doubt the way they chose the Manager. Company should pick someone that doesn't have emotional intelligence issues and doesn't have understanding issue of business process. - Unclear future and unsure if I can work here until retired. It's normal that company must find the way to survive which I also understand this point. Company can press a button any times, they can immediately close the site or discontinue the operations in that country. I love this company but it's not company that we can devote or give everything to them. Performance Assessment. This is somewhat very bias. They already planned or marked where you should be regardless of your contributions. Operations excellence or base operations are not taking into considerations. If you did it well without flaw but no initiatives, max you can go might be only good. Some small flaw, you will go to Need Improvement (NI). Higher rank result will be kept for someone in favor.

Pros

Great all around compensation - from salary, benefits (401k & pension & flexible work], medical [fantastic] Great people - at the company you understand everyone around is came from being one of the smartest people at their previous job/university. Within IT the overwhelming majority of people really care for you, this feels way more collaborative than competitive. Career Development - lots of opportunities to grow in breadth of experience to get deep in your skills and grow in leadership skills

Cons

Work Politics - being such a large corporation with a lot of history there is a tendency to be work politics/red tape sheerly because of the size of the company. However, it is not really bad if you are willing network , put yourself out there to talk with leaders, and be a normal hard-working enjoyable employee. If you do these two things you will succeed at ExxonMobil.
