Pros

Good pay for what you do. The oil industry is very interesting. Get to work with contacts all over the world.

Cons

No bonuses, long hours, working on holidays, they do not let you respect medical leaves. Individual ranking system is based on who likes you not on the quality of your work. I´ve been harassed by the manager for the past 3 years since he didn´t like me an now he fired me with no notification after my medical leave for a hand injury they produced. The work environment is not fair, unless you smile and nod at everything they say you won´t get promoted and you won´t be treated in a professional way, they have many times tried intimidating me to get me to quit. If you have a medical problem that is generated in there, be certain they will fire you so they don´t have to ruin their precious metrics, they will die and do whatever they have to so you dont ruin their dumb metrics.

Great people and culture - Everyone is nice and wants to do good work.

Cons

Lots of security and locked down tech and hard to find what's available.

Pros

Good pay and a pension

Cons

Everything else. Benefits are lackluster, Flex Your Day policies are elusive. The company changes everything all the time so that a large portion of your time is spent finding new links to things on the portal, figuring out who to contact in various departments and in what country just to get a simple answer to a question. No one stays in the same role long enough to get good at their job. Morale is terrible.
