Pros

The location and cafeteria are fantastic. Manpower, the parent company, is very involved in the local community.

Below is what I had written in my last review and all still rings true. My addition, that I feel anyone looking to take a job as a recruiter for them should know, is that they have fired 40+ people in the last few weeks from Experis Core. This isn't counting the people who have left on their own. Right now they're cutting to save money. Though they don't tell employees why, we know it has to do with their model not working. Anyone who joins Experis now will be facing the workload of 3-5 people, depending on which team you're on. Unless you're absolutely desperate for a job, find something else. They're cutting people on all levels of Experis Core and it's widely believed among employees that that part of the company will not last more than six months in it's current state. I mentioned that they fired 40+ people, that's out of nearly 200. I know of another 10 who have left in the last few weeks and I have 20+ friends still there who are looking to get out within the next 60 days. Like all companies they are fantastic about making the job sound amazing. Just to give you a few truths right away: You will not make anything close to the commission they say you will. I was there for over a year and made about 1200. The accounts are horrible: Core is dedicated to taking on work that the branch offices can't/won't work. You will be working on hard jobs with rates that are generally 5-25/hour below the market rate (Also the branches use Core as a place to get people, they often search through and steal people or I've seen jobs opened to work that don't actually exist and the branches just need people for certain roles and don't want to find them. The layout of the office is horrible: It is a call center layout where you're a couple feet from the person beside you and can hear absolutely everything they say. There is also a bell that gets rung when someone does get a person hired. This starts everyone clapping and you can't hear anything on the phone if you're on the phone when that bell rings. Finally, they will tell you about how great the leadership of the teams is during an interview: Almost across the board the leadership on the team level is horrible. If you can't hit an arbitrary metric they will threaten to fire you. You will be constantly micromanaged and they will put you under more stress than any person should be able to handle. It isn't a rare sight for people to be crying at their desks. The job as a whole. They bring people in who are recent college grads and offer a great pay rate. Promises are made about how much you'll make in commission, in addition to base pay, and that you'll be making tons of money. In reality, you're going to have at least five people watching every move you make and criticizing everything you do. They push arbitrary metrics for calls which have no basis the job and then put people on a "plan" where if they don't improve in two weeks they're fired. They make the environment look fun by having things like ping pong rooms, but if you work with Experis you're not allowed to use them unless you're off the clock. You are expected to stay at your desk for 8 hours a day, to the point that people have been reprimanded for using the bathroom. The management will tell you a lot of stuff, but almost none of it is true. You will not make a lot of money on commissions because any people you get hired depend purely on luck and which team you get assigned to. You will leave most days feeling terrible about yourself because they will constantly remind you that you're not getting hires. Within the last three months they've lost at least 20 people to firings or people just walking out of the place. The environment is terrible and the leadership have no idea how to lead; mostly they try to be bosses they've seen in TV shows because most of them were recruiters who were promoted to manage people because they were good at recruiting. If you're interviewing here or thinking about an offer for an associate recruiter for them, I would suggest seeing what else you can find. If you do take the job, always keep one eye open for something else, which is what most of the people who work here do.

Pros

1. Great perks of working in advanced tech, specifically the AR/VR field. 2. The client company offers a lot of fun activities. 3. I was able to find a sense of belonging within my team.

Cons

1. Management lacks clear direction and sound judgment. 2. Micromanagement from leads. 3. Unnecessary drama caused by management. 4. Leadership and management roles lack diversity, with little representation across gender and backgrounds. 5. People are let go without clear reasons, even when directly asked.
