High-Impact Projects: Working in the Custom Models team, I develop highly complex solutions for major players across various sectors (retail, telecom, digital credit, etc.). Our models consistently outperform market competitors in stability and accuracy. Culture & Recognition: The environment is collaborative, blending high technical standards with great human qualities. Leadership actively recognizes dedication—I achieved 100% of my goals, received excellent feedback, and even had the opportunity to engage directly with the CEO. Innovation: We operate with a consultative approach and have space to innovate on a global scale, such as participating in the company's worldwide product innovation championship (IdeaJam).

Cons

Scaling Challenges: Because of the company’s rapid growth and the high demand for our custom solutions, internal processes can sometimes be complex. We are constantly challenged to optimize execution times and internal organization. However, the team is fully aware of this and actively focused on process improvement for 2026.

Pros

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Cons

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
