Pros

Edmunds has fantastic benefits, competitive salaries and the executives care about employee retention and satisfaction. Skilled employees can move up fast. Employees can switch departments easily when there are relevant openings. Referrals for new employees are encouraged and rewarded with $1000 or $2500, depending on the position.

Cons

Middle managers are of inconsistent quality. If you work for a bad one, your experience here can be vastly different than someone else's. Sometimes it is a mystery why some people get promoted when even a quick peer review would have revealed misgivings about the person's competence.

Pros

My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

Cons

Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
