Pros
Edelman undoubtedly has some of the most vast and widely available resources in the industry. Having everything under one house can be a huge added benefit for your team and clients.
Cons
Up until COVID, Edelman was a place I would recommend to anyone. They valued their employees, offered incredible benefits, listened to people's wishes and complaints, and offered a wide runway to grow your career with a ton of support. Since then, the values and morals of the company have drastically declined year over year. Their completely antiquated review process makes it so that you have to fight tooth and nail for an entire year to get your name thrown in the ring for a promotion. The decision is ultimately up to leadership so far above the candidate, they don't even know them by name. If you're lucky enough to get a promotion, expect to be disappointed. Salaries and bonuses are FAR below the average for NY across all levels. I have a colleague who was at Edelman for 8 years, when she put in her two weeks, they didn't even both with an exit interview to gather feedback from her tenured time there. Leadership has lost it's voice and any direction.
