It's fulfilling in a social and personal matter, where one can help make a positive impact in a person's life. Benefits are good: 14 paid holidays, 9/80 schedule option, match up to 15% in 401k. Caring co-workers; low turn over rate amongst upper management.
Cons
Starting pay is low and increase of salary is capped after 8 years. Demanding job per high caseload. Professional development is not provided, though it had been, but cut when recession began.
