Pros
Discounts for food but considering they make their money by scamming customers it will leave a bad taste.
Cons
DoorDash jacks up its menu prices without telling consumers. If you are hired as a courier, DoorDash classifies you as an independent contractor. This means that you aren't an employee with them and you receive no benefits, yet you do most of the grunt work. They require you to sign up for shifts that comprise of several hours and during these shifts you have to stay in your car, near a designated restaurant, waiting for an order to come through. They don't reimburse you for gas mileage or car damages. Considering these two factors you'll be lucky to break even. As other glassdoor users have noted, DoorDash falsely advertises a wage of 20-25$/hour. This just isn't the case and is totally dishonest. If you have a problem on your delivery it is often very difficult to get through to their support team. There have been multiple times where I've called and called and nobody picks up. This company is a scam. Look elsewhere.
