Pros
-6 month maternity/paternity leave -knowledgeable/tenured union workers on the lines -have a well defined CI strategy and management system.
Cons
-operational support functions Quality/food safety/HR/governance/safety aren’t staffed with enough support roles to actually support the operations. Too many managers who point out problems and don’t contribute to problem solving or implementing realistic solutions. -revolving door leadership, constantly changing tactics. -current leadership is old school and claims to value and empower people but will be the first ones to shut down feedback and come down hard on line supervisors/ “worker bees” -upper management is disconnected, haven’t seen department leaders making an appearance to introduce themselves to employees on nights in AGES. - Short staffed on team leads- they will hold you back from new opportunities so as not to loose you and they will make you do the work of 2 or 3 people because they are short on your shift.
