Pros

1) employee discount; 2) other sales associates are great because all of them stressed out so we used to support each other

Cons

Managers sort us for strong, weak, and really week employees. Everyday they push us to jump on customers and provide service. We can't talk to other co-workers. They openly gossiping about other employees and have no respect for hard work we are doing. They treat us like dogs! Economy is bad in Calgary and I can't leave this place but I truly hate management, so I really hope that someone from district managers find my review and talk to management team in Calgary (CrossIronMills). Especially we hate greetings, we have to greet meanwhile stay like robots with open hands, legs, even if it hurts, they don't care! Backpain is killing, varicose is terrible. Managers overall openly show you that you are nothing because they know you are not gonna quit due to bad economy now. They control eaqch your step, when you go to washroom, why you can't help 5 peope in one time. Just want to let to know to all managers, you are gonna paying for that because you are miserable human beings and I am gonna let to know everyone what things you are doing! I am already finished my 3 youtube videos with your names included. By the way, stop complaining that I speak chinese, all our customers are chinese tourists so I must speak on this language with them.

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
