Pros

-Access to the best tools, systems and third party partnerships -Excellent HR-run classes, seminars and presentations from key leaders allow [corporate] employees an expansive view of the company's inner workings -Employee discount -Considering other fashion brands, many teams have a relaxed dress code -Some of the veteran directors are very observant and make well-informed decisions. You can learn a lot from them -Summer Fridays -Long company history cements a sense of brand identity

Cons

-Promotions are rarely given out based on professional qualifications and the bonus structure sounds tantalizing, but is unattainable due to poor stock performance and most of the bonus tied to company share prices -Office is located in a dead zone - several avenues from transit, food or anything else -Management never does anything wrong - every outright failure is re-spun as a success or barred from open discussion because people are afraid of management -Very strict hierarchy over-emphasizes rank at the cost of the dissemination of ideas -The most qualified individuals are all leaving in droves for better paying opportunities over the past two years; faces change frequently -Most teams operate in silos with a tribal mentality, duplicating work and sharing very little information

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
