      Treated like crap by Payroll and manager - Store Colleague Co-op Employee Review

      Customers, other staff accept accept the manager Neil Alan

      Cons

      Company refused to phone HMRC to resolve tax code, not policy despite HMRC stating that was the resolution, relayed request to call repeatedly iver three months, ignored by head office and store manager. Quit after three months, losing £800 pay to emergency tax.

      Pros

      Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

      Cons

      Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
