Pros

Nice office environment when choose to work there. Work life balance - Most PM's logged off by 4/5.

Cons

- Filled with middle management roles across the business who don't want to make decisions. - Inflated Project Management area which doesn't have any true delivery focus. No scrutiny on quality. Matrix Management approach doesn't work. - Inflated PMO area who don't provide the true value add PMO they could. No measurement of cost to the business of continuous project delays. Programmes running over by years and years. - No senior management/Exec focus on delivering. A lot of talking & back slapping.

Pros

Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Cons

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
