We're sorry that you felt that there were no opportunities to learn. Did you raise this with your manager at all while you were with us? There are a number of routes to experience learning and growth at Co-op, both on the shop-floor from a practical point of view, and through various groups and channels on the Co-op Colleague Hub where you could find information on all the development opportunities available.

Pros

Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Cons

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
