      Frustrating environment - Vice President Citi Employee Review

      Pros

      Learn and develop skillset and that is pretty much it.

      Cons

      There are plenty of downsides. Too many management layers, too many employees, no opportunity for career advancement. Lack of unified culture. Pay is lower as compared to banks pay or brokerage firms. No recognition from the management on job well done. Low employee moral and a very demotivating working environment.

      Pretty decent benefits , but your exp is based on your team, and the lunch is pretty good

      Cons

      workload is pretty intense and with ai expect development to be rapid.

      Great benefits (PTO, healthcare, etc.) for FTEs

      Cons

      Everything else - Carousel of management changes - Vague and ever-changing role/job descriptions and associated metrics - The constant feeling that we're all about to be laid off but must "prove" our value in the meantime
