Pros

Great Benefits Excellent option for mediocre people who are good at doing nothing Good for people who strive for work life balance Good for women who have young kids - lots of excellent work from home options Excellent training on CYA (cover your @ss)policies and brown nosing

Cons

no regard for hard work or ideas, its all about who you know no international opportunities no cross business/functional opportunities horrible middle-management no opportunity to grow and expand in your career - its better to quit and come back and they'll hire you for twice the money disparity between income at the same position

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
