Pros

-Slightly above average pay -Great benefits package -Matched 401k up to 6% of your annual salary -Coworkers are very supportive

Cons

-Fake as hell HR who don't give a single damn about you or your needs -Sales goals are RIDICULOUSLY high -Little to NO downtime in-between tasks, you're constantly expected to be active and doing something -30 minute breaks (for a full time job??) -Have to work for minimum 1 year before you can be promoted -Commission/Bonuses SLASHED throughout the last year, reduced to more than 50% of what they used to be. -Hours can be RIDICULOUSLY long (8:30-6 or even 7PM)

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
