I believe that someday Citi will become an efficient and streamlined corporation. When this happens, Citi will truly be a benchmark company to work for. Citi has a footprint in every market and every product. As Citi restructures, there will be much opportunity to make an impact in the future of the company.
Cons
Citi is a tangled beaurocratic and technological mess. This has created a culture where employees are conditioned for process failure, inefficiency and just general complacency. Brain Drain - many of the bank's talent has either left the firm or is making every effort to leave. Future compensation structure is a mystery.
