Pros
Big company with a LOT of systems/servers and teams, constantly upgrading to latest technology and hardware. Many people were able to move horizontally.
Cons
As a bank, IT is not the core of its business, therefore development teams have many junior members, with high rotation. Tendency to have teams with duplicated tasks, and managers trying to keep that statu quo, just to have more people within them.
