I've had better and worse. - Crew Chipotle Employee Review

Pros

There may not be an easier job on the planet. Working among so many Hispanic people it's very easy to pick up Spanish. As a result you can learn about Hispanic culture too which is pretty neat. The food is free while you work, and half off when you're not working, and always tastes amazing. The higher ups also seem to genuinely care about the lower level employees, and often come to work in stores so they don't lose perspective.

Cons

The higher ups caring about lower level employees seems to be limited to just the district staff. Senior management changes rules regularly without giving anything any time to see if changes actually work. Specifically, the location I worked at, the GM never paid attention to my schedule requests and I was eventually let go because of a "no call no show" on a day she told me I could have off. I don't know if this is limited to my specific location or not.

Pros

Free food for breaks, young team, not many crazy customers compared to other fast food restaurant chains

Cons

Always short-staffed at night and double the work from the mornings, the manager has to close multiple positions alone, with insufficient and poor training because God forbid you clock in to learn how to work best.
