Pros

It is flexible work with many locations. They seem to work around your schedule at least in the beginning. Depending on location there can be opportunity for good bonus compensation.

Cons

If hours are not being utilized well at other branches in your district but your location is doing well with hours then your district manager might force your branch to cut hours. At my location, I started at 40 and with in a couple of months I am 30 hours with hour cuts. At my branch there is favoritism toward one specific teller. For advancement once in chase, you need to have good referral numbers. So, unless you get hired straight as a personal banker then your advancement will be indicative on referrals and to be honest referrals are often based on location. My location has a hard time acquiring referrals because it is a poorer area. At the same time, if you are really serious about it then I there are chase scripts and you need to just continuously spit it out. I stopped caring about all of that once my hours got cut. So as long as you don't get discouraged then you should be fine. Just make sure you watch what you say around your managers. Some people can get away with everything while others get written up for being a minute late. Just know it depends on management.
