Depending on the region, culture is toxic. Reps are afraid for their jobs, territories are constantly being tweaked, and disciplines are routinely vetted in case it becomes more profitable to represent them from the inside sales channel. Decisions take a long time so meanwhile those disciplines in a holding pattern are stuck with little to no marketing or editorial support. Reps are responsible to sell those products nonetheless.
