Pros
Good/paid training. You meet people with different types of employment background since they were mostly recruited. Some can work from home and can choose what hours to work. Decent pay, but with the hours you are expected to put in, it's not worth it.
Cons
There is nowhere to advance except a Senior position and that only pays about $3,000 more per year with even more hours expected from you. They recruit a bunch of people for their "busy" season (January-March) expecting a high-turnover. You are working grievances for Medicare Part D beneficiaries. Most do not know you are working on a grievance for them since something simple as a CSR accidentally disconnecting a call can be filed as a grievance. Expect to get yelled at, cussed out, and threatened by the beneficiaries you call since most are either agitated or think you are trying to scam them. Management watches you like Big Brother via Skype. New employees are expected to produce the same work product as someone that has been there for two years, and if you don't, you are threatened with termination. Expect to put in at least 50 hours per week to meet your work-plan.
