Pros
Pay is good, guys on the ground are generally good people.
Cons
If you're not hired by now, you're probably screwed. Anyone hired past late 2013/early 2014 is basically flirting with retention (aka we don't need you, but we'll still pay you) and laid-off status (still considered an employee, but CN won't pay you anything). Until the top 500-600 employees retire due to attrition, nothing about this situation will change for a few years, so you better get busy with other jobs if you decide to stick with it.
