      Pros

      Excellent benefits. Stocks, bonus (10% average, up to 15% of salary depending on company/individual performance), vacation, pension, insurance, discounts at many places including cell carriers and car manufacturers. HQ is located right in the heart of downtown. Many places to eat around. You can be trained to become a train conductor if you wish. Teammates can be very friendly, even family like but it can vary. Excellent work life balance. Possible to work from home.

      Cons

      Not much internal promotions. Instead, they bring in from outside. Work can be slow and boring. Lots of bureaucracy. Lots of political battles. Lots of fighting over resources.

      Pros

      Pays decently well for first job out of college. My manager and team are very reasonable with expectations placed on new hires. Working after office hours (past 4:30pm) is extremely rare and only expected in emergencies.

      Cons

      Very slow and/or limited job growth potential. Promotions into middle management are almost purely based on reputation with middle managers who are largely people with previous field experience. This is very disadvantageous to direct-from-college hires like myself and even my current manager.
