Pros
The culture is great and the people are intelligent and collaborative, perhaps because it remains majority employee owned. The current executive leadership team has a clear vision of where they want to take the organization. Work life balance matters and there are various possible career paths.
Cons
Reporting your hours is an unfortunate reality in most design and engineering firms so they can bill their clients and track costs and CH2M in no exception. The benefits are decent but not the best I've had, especially the healthcare benefits, tuition reimbursement, and 401k, but that shortcoming can be addressed via salary considerations.
