Pros

There is room for growth, but internal politics is thick. If you can work through the politics you will go far, but other wise your room for growth is limited. After the buyout by CDW, we are treated like warehouse employees. Our benefits were slashed, and compensation is sub par. CDW does not understand that professional services workers are highly specialized and need to be rewarded for their skills, otherwise we will leave.

Cons

Professional services division misunderstood by CDW management.

Pros

We all help each other to win unlike any other organization I've worked for. I've never seen an organization support their "coworkers" like CDW has. Management is excellent, supportive and not breathing down our neck but of course have expectations. Leadership is visible. The other day I got off the elevator and the CEO, Chris Leahy, was there which startled me to the point I didn't have words for her. Just be prepared to engage with variety of people often and you'll be successful here.

Cons

None at the moment. I could always get more pay but not real cons. If I owned a business, I'd model it after CDW in part.

Pros

Some good people still left there, but dwindling quickly. That's really it...the few decent coworkers left.

Cons

The great culture of the past is gone. Shareholder value is the only important metric now, and tenure/performance don't hold any value anymore to the EC. CDW is a shell of what it used to be for employee satisfaction across the board.
