Pros

*If you aren't on a brokerage team, you basically get paid to be/look busy; easy 'work' *Flexible work arrangements *Opportunities for progression if you are white and/or look good in heels (as several others here seem to have mentioned, as well)

Cons

*Go ahead and get a copy of the floor plans of each office (they store them on the shared N drive monthly - showing where each person is assigned to sit, by name) and then tell me that it isn't blatantly segregated. If that doesn't convince you, give TWC a call and see if they'll share a count of pending discrimination charges. *Efficiency is a threat to your supervisors and it will harm you *If you have an issue, HR is there to help you get fired with as little liability to CBRE as possible

CBRE Response

We don’t think it’s a coincidence we’ve been recognized for numerous awards for our efforts to provide a work environment that reflects the clients we serve, provides everyone with the opportunity to succeed. We’re proud of to have been recognized for awards such as Forbes Top Companies for Diversity, Best Employers for Women and one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere five years in a row. Diversity and inclusion is material to CBRE because people are at the center of our strategy. We know that we are at our best when people with different backgrounds and experiences come together to produce great results for our clients. We also value feedback from our team, and we understand that there is always work to be done. We would love to hear more about your experience, so we can make the CBRE experience even better for our employees. Please feel free to contact us at TellUs@cbre.com.

Pros

They provide a wealth of learning materials to further your career.

Cons

My experience was that upper management does not understand what those in lower level positions do, and they don't take advantage of experience and knowledge of those below them to make strategic decisions.
