You'll do the work of 2-4 people - Service Desk Analyst CAI Employee Review

Pros

Credit where credit is due: The medical benefits are good. The company legitimately seems like it cares for progressive issues. They let you choose fully remote, on site, or hybrid work environment. They take chances on hiring first time IT professionals.

Cons

Those positives do not outweigh the negatives. You'll be asked to work between 2-5 help desks concurrently. The training you get per account is inconsistent. The pay ($17/hr) is under par compared to industry average. Even if you get a promotion in title such as Service Desk Analyst II or Team Lead, your pay will not increase. More work for the same pay. You get two measly 15 minute breaks per 8 hour shift. It's ironic the company stands for progressive values but treats its employees like robots who must meet strict metrics.

Pros

- Opportunity to work on interesting, high-impact projects. - Flexible work environment that supports work/life balance. - Many talented and knowledgeable colleagues across the organization.

Cons

- Leadership dynamics can feel misaligned, particularly when less experienced teams are driving decisions that impact more tenured professionals. - Career growth feels unclear and, at times, unattainable without the "right" visibility or relationships. - Cross-functional friction is common, and navigating disagreement does not always feel supported or safe. - Compensation and advancement do not consistently reflect market expectations or individual contributions. - Organizational priorities can feel disconnected from the day-to-day experience of employees.
