Pros

Easy job with minimal accountability

Cons

-Company pays peanuts, both salary and benefits aren't much more than the bare minimum. -Upper management is structured to benefit 3-4 people at the top and nobody else -There is no corporate culture, despite having 30 offices worldwide nobody knows anything going on outside of their neck of the woods -Product development is slow and there is no transparency with how decisions are made -There is zero work/life balance- working from home is viewed as negative and barely possible if not for a few people. -Company is behind the times technologically and has no appetite to spend to fix it. Look at their website or news portal if you need a clue. -CEO has provided no strategic direction that anyone is clear on beyond his yes men around him -Many offices don't even have meeting rooms, New York has like one and that's the head office! -Performance reviews are basically non-existent and happen sporadically. Salary reviews and bonuses are rare and do not follow any prescribed review period.

Pros

Remote work is always a pro.

Cons

It’s the most toxic and abusive place I’ve ever seen. People are expendable and fired faster than they’re hired. Newcomers who want to make a difference are quickly demoralized because leadership is not supportive. They will blame you for failing but fire everyone possessing the skills needed to succeed. If you’re not fired you’ll likely quit because of anxiety, stress, and/or depression. It’s truly nightmare. I don’t understand how Berkshire Hathaway hasn’t stepped in yet.
