Pros

Easy job with minimal accountability

Cons

-Company pays peanuts, both salary and benefits aren't much more than the bare minimum. -Upper management is structured to benefit 3-4 people at the top and nobody else -There is no corporate culture, despite having 30 offices worldwide nobody knows anything going on outside of their neck of the woods -Product development is slow and there is no transparency with how decisions are made -There is zero work/life balance- working from home is viewed as negative and barely possible if not for a few people. -Company is behind the times technologically and has no appetite to spend to fix it. Look at their website or news portal if you need a clue. -CEO has provided no strategic direction that anyone is clear on beyond his yes men around him -Many offices don't even have meeting rooms, New York has like one and that's the head office! -Performance reviews are basically non-existent and happen sporadically. Salary reviews and bonuses are rare and do not follow any prescribed review period.

Pros

-I had pretty good autonomy to do what I thought was best to grow the business and brand I was in -I need somewhere like this to be able to evaluate the floor for what I'm willing to tolerate in a work environment.

Cons

-The pay is terrible- 40k for a marketing manager, in this economy. -Benefits were marginal, vacation time below market standards -Strategic direction never articulated adequately to employees, making it challenging to impress to clients direction of company -There is no internal career development-if you get promoted its probably cause someone ahead of you got fired, you're filling a need rather than rewarded based on merit. -There is more culture found in a yogurt than this organization
