Pros
Good shift rotation balance, only work 14 days per month. Following Panama shift schedule. Immediate management/Engineer Manager is fantastic, can't do enough for you. Left to manage yourselves for the most part a lot of autonomy!
Cons
Way too political in some aspects (who you know, not what you know), tool requisitions take months so if you need new kit it takes a while. Treated the same as 0 hour staff that don't care, no trust or respect towards job role. Not saying there should be special treatment but there should be a level of trust when going about your working day, have to go through the same security can't use access doors that would make life a lot easier (Why would an engineer throw away a good paying job for lipstick - no trust). No upward movement, people set in their positions now.
