Pros
Someday there might be a fire drill and that could be cool. Blackbaud buys up all its competitors, so if one business unit fails or becomes obsolete, they can just buy someone else. It is truly the land of milk and honey-- If you are semi-literate and don't push back too hard, you'll be successful without ever actually trying.
Cons
Micromanagement abounds. If there's a fire drill, you'll probably have to take PTO to cover the time you couldn't work. Tenured employees are frequently driven to the breaking point but only stay because it's impossible to find a new job when they have to give 10 days notice for any time off or face the consequences, including termination. People who don't deserve promotion are promoted and tenured employees are left to twist in the wind. Hard work and dedication don't matter, but responding to the right email in an email chain does. Trying to leave and be completely done is like trying to leave the mafia. Nobody in Human Resources knows what they are doing, and neither do any of the levels of management. Nobody is capable of acting on their own, but everyone is real good at passing responsibility around. Good luck receiving your full pay when you quit.
