      Pros

      Blackbaud has really devoted and quality customers.

      Cons

      Zero respect for sales staff, and many in other departments and leadership view sales as entitled and unnecessary. There is a growing sentiment that BB can excel without a quality salesforce. Overall target earnings for sales are well below market standards and there is no concern about this.

Blackbaud is very much a sales oriented company and our continued investment in both the product portfolio (RE NXT, FE NXT, Attentive.Ly, our ONsuite of K12 solutions, ALTRU) as well as the internal investments in sales force efficiency and effectiveness tools are clear indications that we not only value our sales teams but have a vested interest in making them as successful as possible. Blackbaud feels the combination of our sales success opportunity combined with the benefit of fueling the missions of non-profit organizations creates a motivation for our sales teams that is unique in the software and technology space.

      Flexible remote work environment and good PTO

      Cons

      Extremely toxic sales culture here with boys club and clear favoritism. Sales director and VP are the reason for this as they are extremely unprofessional. Mass exodus is for a reason and unsure why HR is ignoring claims on sexism and favoritism with every female employee that seems to be leaving. No career growth or opportunities unless you are part of the boys club here as it is apparently and obvious. Ask the right questions before considering a job here. You are unable to be successful here with onboarding because of completely out of touch and delusional sales trainers. Seems like we are in a complete clown show here!
